Hip Hop Dance and Choreography Workshop

Lets get ready for Breakin’ Convention! Dance workshops open to all young people interested in developing their hip hop dance, breakdance and choreography skills. You may never have danced these styles before and want to try them out, or you may be very experienced and want to extend you skills and choreography using and fusing your ideas.

Si Rawlinson is a Breakthrough Artist at Curve. He is a hip hop choreographer, and the artistic director of Wayward Thread. He has been dancing for ten years, touring across the UK and internationally, performing at venues including the National Theatre, Sadler’s Wells, the Roundhouse, and Royal Festival Hall.

You can see Si’s work in May 2017 at Curve in LDIF Signatures and Breakin’ Convention. His class teaches the fundamentals of break dance, and a unique style of choreography that mixes both break and contemporary dance.”
