Join Nupur Arts for a free Bollywood dance workshop at Curve for Diwali Community Day!

Nupur Arts Dance Academy is a Leicester-based South Asian dance academy, established in 1990. Nupur Arts specialises in Bharatanatyam, Bollywood, and Folk, offering dance classes to all demographics and currently to over 200 students. Alongside their outreach work of engaging with artists, practitioners & other arts organisations to develop, promote and support South Asian arts in Leicestershire & beyond.

The organisation plays a key role in enriching local communities and professional artists, through a range of arts and cultural activities reflecting the diversity of contemporary England. As associates of the Curve Theatre and through the Nupur Arts Youth Association (N.A.Y.A), their work reaches a multitude of audiences. They are also a registered Arts Award centre and offer ISTD examinations, resulting in credited qualifications. Nupur Arts have also recently been selected to join Arts Council England’s National Portfolio Organisation for 2023-2026!

Nupur Arts will be delivering a 1-hour free dance workshop on the Studio stage as part of Curve’s Diwali Community Day activities from 12.30pm-1.30pm.
