Join Centre for Indian Classical Dance for their free dance workshop at Curve for Diwali Community Day!

Centre for Indian Classical Dance (CICD) is a Leicester based South Asian dance organisation, founded in 1981 by Artistic Director Nilima Devi (MBE) to promote knowledge, understanding and appreciation of Indian culture. Over 40 years it has produced many professional and community productions, nurturing generations of talent from the city’s diverse community.

Beyond the consistent teaching at the centre, CICD has a history of leading outreach work in schools, colleges and community organisations with alumni teaching dance classes at local, regional and national levels.

CICD will be delivering a 1 hour free dance workshop on the Studio stage as part of Curve’s Diwali Community Day activities from 2pm-3pm.
