At A Stretch

As part of Curve’s partnership with De Montfort University we have provided 10 DMU students with the unique opportunity to programme a series of productions and events at Curve to celebrate #DMUpride and LGBT History Month in Feb 2018.

Over a period of 4 months, the students have been embedded within Curve as an integral part of the theatre’s structure. During this time they have programmed a week of exciting and engaging work.

The story of two women who meet, get stuck together with elastic and, despite their best efforts, fall in love. Life in the big city is fast paced and it whizzes by everyday. But when M and E meet the world stops and something is holding them together.

This person is different, and these feelings are weird. How can they learn to live together when they can’t seem to be apart?

This wordless visual theatre production for children and families for ages 6 and up includes sharp physical comedy, exciting choreography and breathtaking physical theatre.
