Kat and Lucy are running for Curve!
From Left – Right: Lucy Thornton-Reid (Curve Supporter), Kat Lenthall (Fundraising Co-ordinator) and Susie Jordan (Head of Fundraising).
Our Fundraising Co-ordinator Kat Lenthall and Curve Supporter Lucy Thornton-Reid are running the Leicester Half-Marathon to raise money for Curve – and they need your help!
We caught up with them as they begin their journey…
“We have both been so lucky having theatre play such a huge part in our lives. Not just through working and visiting Curve but also by being actors ourselves, taking part in plays and musicals in local theatres.
In a world where mental illness is at the forefront of conversation, we feel passionate about providing a creative outlet for those who live, work and learn throughout Leicester. What is brilliant about working for Curve is that we see people of all ages and backgrounds being part of something truly special. Whether they attend our free workshops, are part of our Curve Young Company or join us for our regular access performances, we are creating valuable experiences for everyone to enjoy.”
Curve is a theatre for all. We tell great stories, we nurture creativity and provide life changing opportunities and most importantly, we make a difference. As a registered charity (number 230708) we work with people of all ages and backgrounds, enabling them to access, participate in, and learn from the arts. We nurture new and emerging talent and create outstanding, award-winning experiences in our theatre.
We believe everyone who lives, works and learns in our city should have access to the best possible arts provision and we are passionate about making our theatre fully accessible for all.
On Sun 14 Oct, we will be running the Leicester Half-Marathon to raise money for Curve. We would be so grateful if you could support us and help ensure all this incredible work can continue.”
