Half term activities at Curve
This half term (4 – 8 June), Curve has plenty of family activities and great days out for kids. The theatre is the hub of the 10th Spark Children’s Arts Festival, with fantastic family shows in the rehearsal room, studio and theatre. From 6 – 9 June, the theatre will be transformed into a Spark playground of free activities for all the family.
THE SPARK PLAYGROUND (6 – 9 June)
PLAY MAKING
Daily: 11.30am – 12pm & 1.15pm – 1.45pm
Working alongside actors from Dragon Breath Theatre you will have 30 minutes to make up and stage your very own performance.
MUSIC MAKING
Daily: 12.30pm – 1pm & 3.15pm – 3.45pm
Come and join our musician in a 30 minute jamboree of music making and singing, with sea shanties galore.
THE BOOK CORNER
This year the book corner returns with the addition of story tellers and moments for a much needed family stretch.
Story Time: 10.30am – 11am & 2.30pm – 3pm
Family Stretch: 12.15pm – 12.45pm & 3.30pm – 4pm
SHADOW PLAY
Friday 8 and Saturday 9 June only at 11am, 12.45pm & 2pm
Join the brilliant Dragon Breath performers as they help you play and explore your very own shadow stories.There will also be a dressing up box, craft area and games corner.
Best of all, these are free events, so please come along between 10am and 4pm and enjoy.
