Creatives Commentary: Writer Riaz Khan on Memoirs of an Asian Football Casual

Riaz Khan, whose book Memoirs of An Asian Football Casual inspired our Curve Associate Artist Dougal Irvine to pen an adaptation for the stage, reflects on being part of the production and seeing his story performed by actors Jay Varsani and Hareet Deol.

This picture sums up the love and respect I have for these two young men and the production team at Curve. They portrayed my life with such passion and energy thus making me feel so proud of what the theatre had achieved in regards to my story. I will never ever forget what they have done for me.
