Create a response piece to Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
This is an opportunity for those with an interest in theatre, who want to have fun being creative, to get together and meet other local people to take part in workshops responding to the themes of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof.
Practical Information:
There will be four workshops, facilitated by theatre director, writer, performer and vocal coach Carol Leeming MBE.
These will take place on:
Tuesday 24th August – 7pm-9pm
Tuesday 31st August – 7pm-9pm
Tuesday 7th September – 7pm-9pm
Tuesday 14th September – 7pm-9pm
Over four sessions you will explore the play and create response pieces to themes and ideas which inspire you. These could be solo or collaborative. They can be in any performance discipline (dance / movement / sound-design / writing / directing / acting / spoken-word and more).
There may be the opportunity to do extra rehearsals outside of the sessions with Carol, depending on availability of space at Curve.
These pieces will be shared with the group (with cakes and tea!) on Saturday 18 September 2021 at 10am on the set of the production of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof (before the final matinee).
This is a professional development opportunity and unpaid.

Please don’t spend lots of time on it, we just need your contact details and a couple of sentences of what you’d like to get out of the experience.
Due to current Covid regulations we have capped the numbers for the space. If we have more people interested than space we will prioritise Leicester-based participants.
