SUPERYOU is an epic new musical that has the unique distinction of attracting thousands of global fans posting covers of its music for the last four years.  For three weeks only, this viral musical is coming to the Curve in its first ever fully-staged production as a sung-through rock opera following sold-out concerts at New York’s Carnegie Hall and the Lyric Theatre, London.

When her own comic superheroine creations come to life, the protagonist, Katie, uncovers the hero she was always meant to be.

With Book, Music, and Lyrics by Lourds Lane, SUPERYOU is told through a range of music styles including rock, hip hop, and show-stopping ballads. JoAnn M. Hunter (BAD CINDERELLA, SCHOOL OF ROCK) directs and choreographs this beloved story with Music Supervision by Wendy Bobbitt Cavett (COME FROM AWAY, HAMILTON), Set Design by Tony-nominated Anna Louizos (IN THE HEIGHTS, SCHOOL OF ROCK),  Costume Design by Cynthia Nordstrom (ROCKTOPIA), Sound Design by Olivier Award Winner, Tony Gayle (MY NEIGHBOR TORTORO),  Lighting Design by Ryan O’Gara (THOUGHTS OF A COLORED MAN), Projection Design by Caite Hevner (DERREN BROWN: SECRET).
