Synopsis
What do a singer/songwriter/composer, urban visual creative, a rap artist, classical Santoor artist and an urban hang drum player have in common?
Five innovative artists share a new piece of work following a five-day residency to connect urban, contemporary and classical forms and create a distinctive new sound. Featuring Nicki Wells (contemporary vocals), Eeshar Singh (Santoor), Helms DNV (rap artist), Daniel Waples (urban hang drum) and Sukhpal Bhogal (contemporary creative video editor).
Running time: 1 hour, followed by a free 30-minute audience Q&A

Now in its third year, Darbar Fringe is an urban, contemporary and classical festival that celebrates the cultural relationship between the UK and the Indian subcontinent, and explores the many creative influences generated by our shared and evolving history.

Celebrating Dance
In celebration of all things dance, we are delighted to present free performances on our Foyer Stage from Curve Resident Creatives and local dance artists on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 July. From South Asian to contemporary, there’s something for everyone. So wiggle on down to our bar area, pull up a chair, and enjoy spectacular dance for free.
