There’s more to Curve than just great shows. We also offer a range of workshops, activities and backstage tours available for all ages and abilities. From weekly classes to special one off opportunities, there’s something for everyone.

 

Young People and Families

Curve Junior Choir

Mondays, 5pm - 6pm

Curve Junior Choir is our singing workshop for juniors and early teens, taking place on Monday evenings.

Learn vocal techniques, how to sing harmonies, songwriting, performance skills and, in doing so, having a lot of fun!

£4 per session
Led by Kainé Tutors
Recommended for ages 7+

Little Curve Workshops

Tuesdays, 10.15am — 11.15am

Our Little Curve Workshops are a weekly creative arts class for children aged 18 months to 4 years with their parents, carers and grandparents, which will either explore magical, colourful storytelling, or creative dance, music and movement.

Led by Curve Practitioners Chandni Mistry, Lily Viney and Tamika Gore

£3 per session, per family group (up to three people).

Adults

Get a real taste of theatre through our practical workshops and classes for adults. These include a range of drama, creative writing and dance workshops plus much more.

Leicester Women's Gospel Choir

Mondays, 6.30pm - 8pm

This inspirational, women-only choral singing workshop will include learning both traditional and contemporary songs, with performances at Curve and around the city.

£4.50 per session

Over 55s Dance Classes

Tuesdays, 1.30pm - 2.30pm & Fridays, 10.30am - 11.30am

Moving Together run these fun and friendly classes for people of all abilities over the age of 55.

Classes have a social focus, empowering participants to stay active through a variety of stylised routines and dance fitness sequences.

SideKick Dance for Adults

Wednesdays, 11am – 12pm, 12.30pm – 1.30pm or 2pm – 3pm

SideKick Dance was created for both adults aged 19+ with physical and/or learning disabilities, and for young people aged 11-25 with disabilities to participate in dance training in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The sessions include a variety of dance techniques and creative activities to explore movement and produce choreography.

Term time only. Please arrive 15 minutes before the class start time.
